Sentosa was good.
First, met with Rachel tay at yck, and I was kept waiting for 9 minutes only (thank God). Then Steph met us on the train, and we met Siyi and Cheryl at Bishan. After that went down to Dhoby Ghaut where we were supposed to meet the rest, but only Estee and Mtien and Peiting were there I think. Yup, then sharp-eyed me caught a sight of Mindy at the bottom, and we had to wait ages for Wenshin!!! Hahaha. So by the time we reached the luge place, it was 11.30. Ho. And Imet was supposed to meet Rachely at 9.35. So do a little mental maths (Siyi, your forte) and you'll know how much waiting we had to do. It is really quite infuraiting at times.
So finally we got the Luge and Skyride ticket ($5 - cause we had 10 people!) and were off for the Luge. Abit I was carrying around the half-pumped beach ball and frisbee in a galleria dfs bag, with my sling? Then had to put all the barang-barang under/in-between our legs while riding the luge. And I so stupidly thought my head was so big and chose a L helmet, resulting in the stupid thing like hanging by the strap with my ponytail in the helmet instead of my head while riding? And I had to stop 2 times to re-adjust the helmet!!! So it was quite fun minus the helmet part, but the distance was too short to really enjoy. And what sights were they talking about????!!!!! All I could see was the road and TREES. Yup, so after that we took the skyride back to the starting point. Haha, we had to stand on marked number circles on the floor and the seat will just come and shove our butts off lah! And stupid Siyi dropped one of her slippers. It was quite enjoyable, minus the height. Maybe they should have more safety stuff to make people like me and Cheryl feel safer and not like we're about to drop out. Hahaha.
So, finally, we went to the beach and ate $4.50 Ben & Jerry's, then played with my beach ball and frisbee, but the wind kept blowing the ball away so we couldn't really play volleyball. And the stupid net is SO HIGH!!!
And when we got bored of everything, Siyi and I decided to walk along the beach, where we found half a coconut husk!! Hahahaha so we decided to make a treasure hunt! And when we went back we were like IGNORED by eveybody except Cheryl and Wenshin. I suspect they were equally bored after burying Rachel in the not-so-fine sand. Hahah. And in the end we started digging a hole- not unlike a miniature miniature swimming pool, but the tide kept rushing up to kill the sand! hahahaha.
Ok after that, vivo, where we went to Harborfront Towers to makan. All except Mtien, Peiting, Cheryl and I ate Subway. Mtien and Peiting decided to go for Food Junction, and Cheryl and I changed our minds after the shocking prices of the sandwiches. Hahah then we were trying to find our way around the place to Food Junction, when we came across Yoshi! Hahahaha so we just sad in and ate that. After that walked around to see the place, and saw a minature version of Steph's puma bag :D Like for storing cosmetics or something. Then met the rest, and Vivo. Mindy, Wenshin, Cheryl and I didn't want to watch The Prestige so we windowed around vivo. Made a much more thorough search than on tues with my mum. The shops there arent' really that great. Only one or two new faces, like Gap and Ted Banker (the one with all the wonderful hats!!) etc. Haha. No suitable white shoes. Bah!
I tried on the skirt mummy said was nice, and I thought it was nice, but I also thought it was too puffy. So sad la, the material and design were quite nice. Haha.
Then the four of us went to Toys 'R' Us and fantasized about all the lovely TOYS! Although it was kind of freezing in there, we still ran around like mad people from this Barbie to the next. HAHAHAHAHA ok so childish.
Then to Tangs where we wanted to buy this cushion for Mr Foo, cause it was about a 20" square and only $6.90!!! Turned out it was "case only". AAAAAH. So finally we settled on an extremely BIG fork, and an extremely SMALL spoon. Go figure, hoho.
Oh btw I bought my white top fm Topshop, vivo. There was this off-white dress at Tangs that was so nice! But it was off-white and it wasn't exactly cheap. Hoho.
Cheryl just pangsai-ed me la! The few photos she was sending me were 3/4 done (already about 15 mins into downloading) and she went offline. -.-
Should I continue thinking about my Chinese? I think I shouldn't because it will just make me worried. I should just concentrate on getting my VOCAB stronger. Ok. One more day of enjoyment, sort of, and Mug straight for 15 hours (thats all I think I can squeeze in in 2 days).
